The group size is limited to nine people to maintain a personalized atmosphere. The tour includes small food pairings served at either the first or second winery visited. Lunch is provided at a carefully chosen boutique location on the island. Transportation is provided in an air-conditioned vehicle for comfort throughout the day. The tour is led by a local guide with extensive knowledge of Waiheke Island’s roads and wineries. The tour focuses on ultra boutique, off-grid wineries connected with the ZEITGEIST approach, offering a unique perspective on the island’s wine scene. All taxes, fees, and handling charges are included. Hotel pickup and drop-off, round-trip ferry transport from Auckland, and gratuities are not included. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Oneroa Village and Northern Waiheke Drive
Upon arrival, Grant welcomes guests to Waiheke Island. After a short pause in Oneroa Village, the tour proceeds to the northern side, traveling along native bush-lined roads with views of the water. The route avoids common tour paths, focusing on family-owned wineries with sustainable vineyards. Guests taste up to 15 handcrafted Waiheke wines and enjoy lunch options while experiencing the eastern side's natural environment, including native trees and birds.

Please book ISLAND DIRECT ferry on the operator. Take the 9:15am over to the island and the 4:20pm back. If full, take 9am Fullers360 but please let us know. The 10am ferry WILL NOT get you to the tour on time. Grant will greet you as you step onto the island with a WAIHEKE ZEITGEIST sign.
