Overview

This one-hour boat tour departs from Kewalo Basin Harbor and sails along Oahu’s South Shore toward Lē’ahi (Diamond Head). Passengers board the Haleiwa Queen, a glass-bottom boat that offers clear underwater views through its transparent panels. During the cruise, guests can see tropical reefs and a well-known shipwreck beneath the Pacific Ocean’s surface. The tour provides opportunities to spot marine animals such as honu (sea turtles), eels, reef sharks, dolphins, and schools of tropical fish from the deck. The boat has a canopy-covered deck for shade and comfort, bottled water is included, and an experienced captain and crew operate the vessel. Complimentary photos are provided to remember the trip. The cruise is suitable for groups of all sizes, including families, conventions, military outings, school field trips, and wedding photo tours along the Oahu coastline. Animal sightings are likely but not guaranteed. Guests should arrive about 20 minutes before departure at the Kewalo Basin Harbor, Slip F21. The tour moves from the harbor along Waikiki Beach, offering waterfront views, and then reaches a prime spot near Diamond Head State Monument for photos. Parking near the harbor is metered and not included, gratuities and alcoholic drinks are excluded, although guests may bring their own beverages. Power wheelchairs cannot be accommodated due to a step to board, infants are recommended to be in a car seat or carrier, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Priority boarding is available.
