Overview

This shared gondola boat cruise in Waikiki lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Guests are welcomed with a Hawaiian lei and offered a drink and pastry during the cruise. The ride follows the Ala Wai Harbor and Canal, also known as the Venice of the Pacific, providing views of Diamond Head State Monument, Magic Island, and the Honolulu city skyline. Depending on the sailing time, passengers may see rainbows or a sunset over the city lights. Umbrellas and blankets are available for comfort, and a gondolier operates the boat. The Magic Island gondola cruise option does not include the lei, pastry, or canal route unless upgraded to the longer 45-minute or 1-hour cruises. After the gondola cruise, passengers receive a hop-on hop-off trolley bus ticket to explore Waikiki’s hotels, the statue of Duke Kahanamoku at Waikiki Beach, and the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Gratuities and alcoholic drinks are not included. Passengers must comply with weight restrictions to avoid exceeding the gondola’s capacity.
