The whale-watching cruise departs from Newport Beach and lasts approximately two hours and fifteen minutes. The boat travels along the coast near Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, offering views of the ocean and shoreline. An onboard naturalist provides information about California marine life throughout the trip. Passengers can see up to twelve different species of whales, including blue, finback, grey, minke, and humpback whales. The cruise also includes sightings of more than six types of dolphins, such as giant Risso dolphins, white-sided dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and common dolphins. Large groups of dolphins, sometimes numbering over one thousand, may appear during the cruise. The luxury option features a spacious yacht with a 360-degree walk-around deck, fewer passengers, and faster speeds to reach distant marine mammals. All fees and taxes are included. Passengers should arrive at least one hour early due to limited parking near Balboa Pier Municipal Lot, especially during summer months. The cruise operates in all weather conditions. Certain restrictions apply: no high heels, no outside alcohol, ice chests, coolers, or glass containers are allowed. The vessel may change depending on availability.

We have the potential of viewing giant blue whales, finback whales, gray whales, minke whales, common dolphin, bottlenose dolphin and many more in their natural habitat! With one the largest marine protected parks just outside of Newport Bay, whales and dolphin of all types can be viewed as soon as you leave the bay. Once you check in to receive your boarding pass and board our vessels, you will have a 15-minute cruise through our beautiful Newport Harbor viewing multi-million-dollar mansions along the harbor coastline as well. Also, during this time, feel free to head to the galley to purchase the beverage of your choice (cocktails, beer, wine, soda or water). Once we hit the open ocean, we will be in search for wildlife of all kinds (sharks included)! Choose a seat inside our galley area or outside for the best views!
