Overview

This three-hour wildlife tour operates from Victoria, British Columbia, on a covered vessel equipped with indoor and outdoor viewing areas. The vessel includes full washroom facilities and comfortable seating, allowing guests to watch whales and other marine animals in a sheltered environment. Passengers can enjoy complimentary hot drinks, and snacks are available for purchase on board. The tour focuses on the Juan de Fuca and Haro Strait areas, known for frequent sightings of migrating orca whales, including Bigg's transient killer whales, as well as humpback and Minke whales. Other marine wildlife such as seals, sea lions, and various marine birds can also be observed during the trip. A certified marine biologist guides the tour, providing expert commentary on the animals and their habitats. This outing combines relaxed comfort with wildlife observation and is suitable for all ages. The vessel’s elevated 360-degree outdoor decks offer good photo opportunities, while indoor spaces protect passengers from the elements. The tour runs regardless of weather, so appropriate clothing is advised.
