During the lunch break, the guide explains the cultivation and processing of chocolate, medicinal plants, fruits, and sugar cane in the region. Near the end of the tour, guests learn how sugar cane is traditionally harvested and have the opportunity to extract sugar cane juice and drink a glass of freshly made pure sugar cane juice. The tour includes pickup and drop-off service in La Fortuna, snacks, lunch, and all rafting equipment and activities on the Class III and IV sections of the Balsa River. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
