This white water rafting tour takes place on the Upper Naranjo River, specifically on the Chorro section, from December 15th to May 15th. The tour lasts about four hours and begins with a safety briefing covering all rafting instructions. Participants are picked up from hotels, Airbnbs, or vacation rentals in Quepos or Manuel Antonio, with a 30-minute drive to the river starting point. The rafting route features class 3 and 3+ rapids suitable for families, passing through a mini canyon with jungle waterfalls. There are sections of calm water where participants can float while wearing life vests. Optional cliff jumping is available from heights of 5, 10, and 15 feet. A safety kayaker accompanies the group throughout the river for added security, along with a bilingual guide and driver. Equipment including life vests, helmets, paddles, and rafts is provided. After rafting, the group is served a snack consisting of pineapple, fruit juice, water, and cookies. The return drive to the pickup area takes about 20 minutes. Group sizes are kept small to medium for safety and a more personal experience. Minimum age for participants is 10 years old.
