Overview

This Segway tour lasts about three hours and covers around 7 kilometers along the Whitsunday Bicentennial Boardwalk in Airlie Beach. Participants ride their own Segway from Airlie Beach to Cannonvale, passing Pioneer Bay and Abell Point Marina. Along the route, the tour stops at various points to learn about local landmarks and to walk around briefly. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off by air-conditioned minivan, all necessary equipment including helmets, and a local professional guide who shares information during the ride. On the return trip, riders enjoy gliding along the boardwalk while feeling the ocean breeze. The group pauses at the Coral Sea Marina area to have dinner at Sorrento Restaurant. Dinner includes pizza or pasta, served while watching the sun set over the Whitsundays. Guests can choose to stay for the full meal or return to Airlie Beach after the stop. Photos are taken during the tour and shared via social media. Alcoholic drinks are not included but can be purchased at the restaurant. The tour operates in all weather conditions and requires participants to be at least 12 years old, weigh between 45kg and 117kg, have full vision, and be able to stand unaided.
