Overview

This day trip lasts about 11 hours and visits three major sites in England starting from London. The trip includes a visit to Stonehenge, where you spend around one hour seeing the prehistoric stone circle and the exhibition center with 250 ancient objects. The guide explains who built the monument and its connection to the solstices. Next, the tour stops at Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world and a royal residence for nearly 1,000 years. You have about 90 minutes to explore the castle grounds, including the State Apartments which display works from the Royal Collection, and St George's Chapel, a Gothic-style church that holds about 800 people and serves as the chapel of the Order of the Garter. The chapel visit lasts around 15 minutes. Finally, the coach takes you to the city of Bath. If you selected admission, you can enter the Roman Baths for about an hour to see the well-preserved spa complex fed by natural hot springs. The tour also includes time to view Bath Abbey, a church with origins in the 7th century and later restorations, and Pulteney Bridge, a Georgian bridge famous for its shops along both sides. The tour is conducted in Spanish and includes a superior coach with onboard Wi-Fi and USB charging, an expert guide, and personal audio headsets. Admission to Windsor Castle and the Roman Baths is included if those options are selected. Hotel pickup and drop-off, meals, drinks, and gratuities are not included.

Bath Abbey

Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church and former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset. Founded in the 7th century, it was reorganized in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries. Major restoration was done by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1860s.

5

Pulteney Bridge

Pulteney Bridge, designed in 1769 by Robert Adam, is one of the few bridges worldwide with shops lining both sides of its full span. It is a well-known example of Georgian architecture in Bath.
