Wulai Yunxian Paradise, New Taipei: The beautiful scenery was inaccessible to visitors due to the cliffs and precipices of the Nanshi River, which led to the plan to build an aerial cable car. The aerial cable car would fully present the original natural landscape to the public. Because of its natural beauty, and the different beauty of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, it is like a fairyland, so it was named "Yunxian Paradise." Wulai Trolley: The Wulai Trolley was initially used only for transporting timber. Due to the demand from tourists visiting Wulai Waterfall, the operating route runs from Wulai Station to Waterfall Station, with a total length of about 1.6 kilometers. It operates daily from 8 AM to 5 PM, with adjusted operating hours during the peak summer season, and departs as soon as passengers arrive to serve visitors. When visiting Wulai Old Street, the trolley is a popular must-visit attraction for both adults and children. Neidong National Forest Recreation Area: Located in Wulai District, New Taipei City, it boasts primeval forests and abundant water resources, making it one of Taiwan's famous forest secrets. Due to its humid climate and excellent environment, it is an ideal habitat for ferns, mosses, and various wild animals, earning it the reputation of "Fern Paradise." In spring and summer, you can hear frogs chirping, like a natural symphony in "Wawagu" (Doll Valley). Xinxian Suspension Bridge: It is a pedestrian suspension bridge about 30 meters long, located in Wulai District, New Taipei City, spanning the Nanshi River. It is one of the eastern entrances to the Xinxian Trail, combining indigenous culture with the natural valley, and serves as a serene entrance to the mountain forest. On both sides of the bridgehead are statues of Atayal warriors (holding knives, bows and arrows, etc.), highlighting the local indigenous people's life and cultural spirit. Wulai Waterfall: The waterfall with the largest drop in northern Taiwan, it was listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period, and is also known as "Yunlai no Taki" (Waterfall of Cloud Arrival). When rainfall is abundant, Wulai Waterfall forms two flying springs, cascading down from the valley, showcasing its magnificent beauty. In spring, you can also admire the blooming pink cherry blossoms next to the waterfall, adorning the waterfall and mountain forest. Wulai Old Street: In the area of Wulai Street, Waterfall Road, and Huanshan Road, the shop signs are uniformly designed, looking very neat. Most of the shops feature indigenous characteristics, so visitors can taste indigenous-flavored mountain delicacies, such as charcoal-grilled wild boar, hot spring eggs, shell ginger leaf rice, bamboo tube rice, maqaw dishes, bird's nest fern, and scallions, which are rare indigenous-flavored dishes found elsewhere. In addition, there are millet wine, millet mochi, and other specialties, which are also very suitable as souvenirs for friends and relatives.
