Overview

Xel-Ha Park, located along the Riviera Maya near Cancun, is a natural aquarium featuring over 50 attractions including lagoons, cenotes, caves, and a hidden beach where freshwater and seawater mix. The park operates from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Visitors can snorkel among more than 90 marine species with included gear such as mask, fins, and flotation vest. Inner tubes and bicycles are available to explore the grounds, which also have lounge chairs and hammocks for rest. Facilities such as lockers, showers, restrooms, and towels are included. Transportation is provided to and from hotels in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and the Riviera Maya. Guests receive their park entry wristband on the bus before arrival. Xel-Ha Park by Xcaret

Xel-Ha is the world’s largest natural aquarium where visitors snorkel among hundreds of tropical fish and over 90 marine species. The park features lagoons, cenotes, and caves where seawater meets the freshwater from the world’s longest underground river system. Included are lifejackets, inner tubes, bicycles, loungers, hammocks, and rest areas. Visitors can ride ziplines that end in cenotes or coves, explore the vegetation nursery, and observe mangroves and rainforest orchids. The park also has an apiary of Melipona bees with traditional Mayan honey harvests twice a year. Seasonal events include Earth Day, Birds’ Day, World Sea Turtle Day, Day of the Manatee, Purification Ceremony, Treasures of the Cove, and Secrets of the Jungle.
