About time difference: Xinjiang has a 2-hour time difference with inland areas, so you need to adapt to the living habits. Lunch time is 14:00-15:00, and it gets dark between 21:30-22:00. Hotel breakfast usually starts at 8:30, lunch time is 13:00-14:30, and dinner is around 19:30-20:30. About climate: Xinjiang has a large temperature difference between day and night. The continental semi-arid climate is typical of Xinjiang. It's typically "hot during the day, cold at night." Taxian has a higher altitude, so the temperature will be a bit lower. You should prepare a softshell jacket or a thick coat. Sun protection: Xinjiang's ultraviolet rays are very strong, so be sure to prepare sun protection equipment in advance. Sunscreen with SPF 50+ is recommended. After arriving in Xinjiang, your body will need a lot of hydration, especially for women. In the plains of Southern Xinjiang, such as Kashgar and Shache, it's dry, hot, and windless, with temperatures between 2035 degrees Celsius. The Pamir Plateau is around 020 degrees Celsius.
