Overview

Go to Yehliu Geopark in New Taipei City, Taiwan, where there are the most and most unique rocks in Taiwan.Among them, the lifelike Queen's Head is the most famous landmark. After tens of thousands of years of sea erosion, weathering and crustal movement, Yeliu Geopark has formed special geological landscapes such as sea caves, honeycomb rocks, candle-shaped rocks, bean curd rocks, mushroom-shaped rocks, and pot caves. CNN has even reported the unique beauty of Yehliu Geopark, describing it as the most Mars-like rocky environment on Earth. Yehliu Geopark is a headland where the remnants of Datun Mountain extend into the sea, with a total length of about 1,700 meters. It looks like a sea turtle, so it is also called "Ye Liu Turtle".
