Overview

Yehliu Ocean World, Taiwan's first marine mammal exhibition hall, has evolved over three decades. Today, the Ocean Theater is an ecological performance theater focused on marine mammal ecological knowledge. Nestled on the Venus Coast, overlooking the stunning coastline of Keelung Island, it unveils the mysteries of the azure ocean for you. At Yehliu Ocean World, you can discover the secrets of our marine partners and observe the lively sea lions up close. With their wet noses and big, rolling eyes, what unique features do these flippered creatures with their large hands and feet reveal beneath their adorable and playful exteriors? The bottlenose dolphins, beloved members of the cetacean family, now swim freely in the blue sea, but initially, their ancestors were land-dwelling animals! How did dolphins become the "spirits of the sea" on their long evolutionary journey? How are these intelligent dolphin partners, with their close and deep relationship with humans, carefully cared for and nurtured by keepers and veterinarians at Yehliu Ocean World? In recent years, affected by marine pollution, climate anomalies, and other factors, these marine partners are facing severe survival crises. What else can we do to contribute to these marine partners who share the Earth with us? All the interesting secrets and rich ecological knowledge of our marine partners can be found at Yehliu Ocean World - Ocean Theater!
