The tour begins with a pickup from your hotel or B&B anywhere in Yellowknife. A driver and guide drive along the Ingraham Trail to reach three different viewing spots outside the city. At each stop, guests have time to watch the Northern Lights and the guide takes free professional photos of the group. During the approximately four-hour tour, guests receive complimentary cookies and hot drinks such as tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. The guide also shares information about the Northern Lights and the Yellowknife area throughout the trip. After visiting all locations and photo opportunities, the bus returns to drop guests off at their accommodations in Yellowknife. Warm clothing is recommended during winter months, but is not included in the tour. This tour does not offer airport pickup or drop-off.
