This four-hour introduction to the Thai kitchen in Hua Hin begins with a visit to Talad Chat Chai, a fresh food market that has been operating for over 100 years. Participants shop for ingredients needed for the cooking class with guidance from the instructors. After the market visit, the group moves to a traditional Thai teak house where the cooking session takes place. During the class, participants prepare and cook five Thai dishes: Green Curry Paste, Green Curry with Chicken (Gaeng Keaw Wan Gai), Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong soup, and the dessert Khanom Lod Chong. The class includes a recipe booklet and a certificate of completion. Bottled water, snacks, lunch, tea, and coffee are provided. Pickup and drop-off within Hua Hin town are included. Alcoholic and soft drinks are available for purchase but are not included.
