The tour begins with a pick-up from your accommodation anywhere on Zakynthos island. The guide-driver provides a map of Zakynthos and explains the itinerary before heading to the first destination, Cameo Island. Here, you can walk across the famous wooden rope bridge onto the small island near Agios Sostis. There is a 5€ entrance fee for the island, where you can swim at the secluded beach surrounded by white limestone cliffs and take photos of the distinctive white sheets hanging above the water. After returning to the port, board a glass-bottom boat for a mini cruise within the National Marine Park of Zakynthos. While sailing, watch the bay for sea turtles surfacing or swimming beneath the boat through the glass floor. Next, reach Marathonisi Island, a green islet with two large caves. The boat passes into these caves where sunlight creates blue reflections on the walls. Then the boat stops for an hour at Marathonisi’s sandy beach, allowing time to swim, snorkel, or sunbathe. Protected sea turtle nests are marked and guests are asked to respect the conservation zones. Continuing along the southwestern coast, the boat sails to the Keri Caves.
