Is Dunkirk Museum worth visiting?
Not to miss when in Dunkirk Great museum, housed in a historical building that served as a command centre during the WW2 evacuation. It is not a huge museum, it should take you around 45-60 minutes to see it but it is definitely worth visiting.
Does the mole at Dunkirk still exist?
Although the original timber and concrete mole was later destroyed in a storm, the site is still highly atmospheric. Next to the Mole is Malo les Bains Beach, where men waited patiently for their turn to embark. Malo les Bains is also the site of the Allied Dunkirk Memorial.
