Can I bring my own food to Splash Island?
Patrons are welcome to bring their own picnic lunches and lawn chairs into the facility. However, we ask that NO glass containers, bbq's, alcohol or items in a shell (peanuts/sunflower seeds) be brought into the facility. All coolers, strollers and bags will be checked by gate staff prior to entrance.
Where did Oprah stay in St Lucia?
Spectacular lunch at Dasheene, at Ladera Resort (happens to be where Oprah's stayed at St Lucia) - we went back to Saint Lucia after Martinique, before returning to NY this week. Ladera is within a UNESCO world heritage site, with a view overlooking both the stunning Pitons.
Can you wear green in St Lucia?
It does tend to get cooler at night, so it's also worth popping a jumper or wrap into your suitcase. Please note that it is against the law to wear camouflage clothing in Saint Lucia (including children) and to carry items made out of camouflage material. These will be confiscated and not returned.
