Which nights should you book for EPIK?
EPIK is a one-day festival on 12 December 2026. If you are attending only that day, you only need to book for the night of 11 December (to be rested and ready) and check out on the morning of 12 December. However, many festival-goers choose to stay for multiple nights — especially if travelling from afar — to avoid last-minute booking pressure or to enjoy the Olympic Park precinct before or after the event. If you plan to arrive early or depart late, confirm availability directly with the hotel, as dates outside 11–12 December are not covered by the festival schedule.
How do you get to Sydney Showground?
All listed hotels are within walking distance of Sydney Showground: Novotel Sydney Olympic Park is 4 minutes away on foot; Ibis and Pullman are both 7 minutes; several others are 10–14 minutes. Ride-share drop-off is available at the venue, and there is a train station within the Olympic Park precinct — services thin out late, so check the last departure before you go. Buses also serve the area, but frequencies decrease after the festival ends.
Where do you eat and drink after the festival?
After the festival finishes, you can walk back to any of the nearby hotels and unwind — all offer private bathrooms and power outlets for charging devices. Some properties have laundry facilities or drying space, which may help if clothing got damp during the day.
What is the area around Sydney Showground like?
The Sydney Showground sits within Sydney Olympic Park, a landscaped, master-planned precinct with wide paths, public art, and open green spaces. It’s quieter than central Sydney but well-connected, with cafes, convenience stores, and occasional pop-up food vendors near the venue. The area feels suburban and safe, with limited nightlife beyond what the festival itself provides.
