Overview

This guided electric bike tour lasts about two and a half hours and starts at the bike shop in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. The tour follows the scenic 17-Mile Drive through Pebble Beach, with a guide leading the group to well-known landmarks including The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Lone Cypress, Bird Rock, Point Joe, Spanish Bay, and Crocker Grove, which features the largest and oldest Monterey Cypress trees. The ride covers roughly 17 miles along the coastline, with multiple stops to explore and rest. The largest stop is at Pebble Beach Golf Links, where participants have about 30 minutes to walk around independently, view Still Water Cove, learn about the golf course’s history, purchase souvenirs, or relax with a snack or drink. Other stops include Spanish Bay, Point Joe with its granite rock coastline and marine history, the site of a former Chinese fishing village at China Rock, Bird Rock Vista Point for sea lion viewing and restroom breaks, Seal Rock Creek beach, Fanshell Overlook and Cypress Point Lookout (both spots to watch for sea otters and hear about Cypress Point Country Club), Crocker Grove with its ancient cypress trees, Lone Cypress tree landmark, and Ghost Tree with views of Point Lobos and Carmel Bay. The tour requires a minimum of four riders to operate. If needed, the operator may cancel, convert the booking to a private tour (with extra cost), combine it with another group at a different time or day, or change it to a standard rental without guide or fixed route. These changes are communicated at least 24 hours before the tour. Special requests or bookings for parties of one, more than ten people, those with dogs or children, must be arranged by phone. The tour includes use of an electric bike, helmet, and any applicable landing or facility fees. Personal expenses and other items are not included.
