On the first day, the tour begins with a 4x4 game drive at Botlierskop, located along the coastal Garden Route. This safari lasts about two and a half hours and takes place in specially adapted open-roof vehicles. After the game drive, the group travels approximately five hours to Oudtshoorn for an overnight stay. Accommodation options depend on the booking choice and include budget dormitory rooms at Uthando Hostel, comfort rooms at 88 Baron van Reede Guesthouse, or luxury lodgings at Buffelsdrift. On the second day, breakfast is provided at the accommodation, followed by a 1.5-hour 4x4 safari at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge in the Klein Karoo. An optional elephant observation activity is available at Buffelsdrift for an additional cost, payable on-site. After the morning safari, the tour returns to Cape Town via Route 62.
