This 2-day tour starts with a drive from Marrakech across the High Atlas Mountains, reaching an altitude of 3,800 feet. The journey includes multiple stops for photos of the mountain scenery and a one-hour lunch break in the Atlas Mountains. The route continues to the ancient fortress of Ait Benhaddou, where a local guide leads a one-hour visit explaining the kasbah’s history and architecture. Afterward, the tour proceeds to Ouarzazate, with a stop to visit the cinema studios and an optional visit to the Kasbah of Taourirte, lasting about one hour. The main desert experience takes place in Zagora, where guests take camel rides both at sunset and sunrise. The sunset camel ride leads to a Berber camp for an overnight stay.
