Witless Bay Ecological Reserve

This reserve consists of four islands that serve as a nesting ground for about four million seabirds each spring and summer. Notable species include the second largest colony of Leach’s Storm-Petrel in the world with 620,000 pairs, as well as Common Murre, Razorbill Auk, Black-Legged Kittiwake, Great Black-backed Gull, Black Guillemot, Northern Fulmar, Thick-billed Murre, and Herring Gull.
