The tour starts in Glasgow with a small group boarding a Mercedes mini-coach for travel into the Scottish Highlands. Over three days, the group visits key locations across the Highlands and spends time exploring the Isle of Skye, the second-largest island off Scotland’s west coast. The duration of the tour is about 72 hours. Accommodation is provided for two nights in en-suite rooms with breakfast included each morning. A professional driver and guide accompanies the group throughout the trip, providing commentary and assistance. Transport is by a high-quality Mercedes mini-coach designed for a maximum of 16 passengers, allowing a more personal experience. On the second day, the itinerary on Skye is flexible, with the driver-guide adjusting plans to suit weather conditions and ensure the best possible visit. The group will have access to Eilean Donan Castle, but entry requires purchasing tickets separately during the tour; admission fees are not included. Evening meals and refreshments are also not included, and pre-booking dinners after 7pm is recommended. Luggage is limited to one piece per person weighing up to 20kg (44lbs), plus one small personal item suitable for onboard storage. Depending on the season, accommodation on Skye is either in Broadford (spring to autumn) or Portree (winter). Some accommodations may require walking 20-30 minutes to reach local facilities. If guests have mobility issues, this should be communicated prior to booking to arrange suitable room options. Children under 5 years old are not permitted on the tour, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The maximum group size per booking is 8 guests, even though the vehicle can hold up to 16. Eilean Donan Castle will be closed from 23 December 2026 to 1 February 2027; during this time, the group will stop for photos outside the castle but will not enter it. Instead, more time will be spent at other locations on the itinerary.
