Overview

This small-group tour lasting four days takes travelers from Edinburgh through Scotland’s West Highlands to the Isle of Skye. The group size is limited to 16 people and travel is by Mercedes mini-coach with a professional driver-guide. Accommodation includes three nights in en-suite rooms with breakfast. The route includes visits to Glencoe’s valleys and Rannoch Moor, followed by a stop at Glenfinnan Viaduct. The tour continues to the Isle of Skye to see the Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing, and coastal cliffs. Travelers also visit Eilean Donan Castle and Loch Ness, where there is time to look for Nessie. Several Highland villages are included for exploring local legends and culture. The tour provides free time at various points to explore independently. During winter months from October through April, the itinerary follows a scenic route via Kyle of Lochalsh and crosses the Skye Bridge. Overnight stays in Broadford on Skye occur from November 2025 to March 2026. Admission fees for Eilean Donan Castle are not included, and the castle is closed on 14 and 21 February and 12 - 16 April; during these dates only a photo stop is possible. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not provided. Luggage is limited to one carry-on-sized bag (up to 14 kg) plus a small personal item per person. Children under 5 are not allowed; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Group bookings are capped at 8 guests per party.
