This four-day lodge safari in northern Tanzania visits several important wildlife areas. The trip includes two nights in the Serengeti National Park, where the plains support sightings of all Big Five animals. It also includes visits to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, and the Ngorongoro Crater, where it is possible to see all Big Five species in a single day. The safari lasts about 96 hours and includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as outlined in the itinerary. Transportation and park entry fees are not specified here.
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive including a picnic lunch. The park features natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and large African Baobab trees, with extensive swamp areas in the south. During Tanzania's dry season, the river and swamps attract many wild animals. Tarangire is known for having some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. It is also home to three rare species: the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings.
