Ngorongoro Crater Visit
After an early breakfast with coffee, the group descends more than 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater to observe wildlife. The crater’s constant water sources and vegetation sustain a wide range of animals such as buffalo, eland, hippos, giant African elephants, warthogs, wildebeest, and zebra. This area also supports a large number of predators including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and occasionally leopards, which may need careful searching to detect. The visit includes Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern part of the crater, where flamingos, hippos, and various water birds are commonly seen. Afterwards, the group transfers back to Arusha city for hotel drop-off.
