This private walking food tour in New York City's Greenwich Village lasts about 3 and a half hours and includes more than six tastings. The guide leads guests through historic streets that reflect the city's early Dutch and British roots while stopping to sample various dishes that represent New York’s culinary history. Tastings include a classic NYC bagel with creamy schmear, a falafel bite, a slice of New York-style pizza, a gourmet cookie, a freshly baked cupcake, and a secret dish revealed only on the day of the tour. Along the way, participants pass through cobblestone streets, see cultural landmarks, and visit local cafés that contribute to the neighborhood's character. The tour moves at the guest’s own pace, providing a private and relaxed way to explore and taste the area. The itinerary includes visits to notable city locations such as the High Line, a 1.45-mile elevated park built on a former railroad spur, offering views and public art, and the Empire State Building, a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper featuring observatories on its 86th and 102nd floors. These stops are part of the walking route through Manhattan. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. Guests should wear comfortable shoes as the tour covers about 3 miles on foot. Accessibility is limited by some steps at the pizza stop, but other stops are wheelchair accessible. The menu and itinerary may change depending on availability and weather. Guests with dietary requirements must contact the operator before booking to confirm accommodations, as not all dietary restrictions can be met.
