Overview

This walking tour in Granada lasts about three hours and offers private or small group options to visit the Alhambra. The tour includes skip-the-line tickets for the entire Alhambra complex, including the Nasrid Palaces. The guide leads the group through the Palace of Carlos V, a Renaissance palace built starting in 1527 that provided comfortable living quarters for the emperor and his family. Next, the tour covers the Nasrid Palaces, the former residence of the kings of Granada from the early 14th century. This complex includes the Mexuar, used for royal meetings and court sessions; the Palace of Comares with its Courtyard of the Myrtles and the Hall of Ambassadors inside the Tower of Comares; and the Palace of the Lions, featuring the Courtyard of the Lions and several halls such as the Hall of the Mocarabes, Hall of the Kings, Hall of the Two Sisters, and more, ending with the Daraxa viewpoint and the Harem. The visit also includes the Generalife estate, located outside the Alhambra walls on Cerro del Sol. This summer palace was the Nasrid sultans’ country residence and agricultural estate, with extensive gardens and a variety of plants. The tour does not include food, drinks, headphones, or transportation. The booking requires full names and passport information for all participants to gain entry.
