Overview

The Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento lasts about eight hours and forty-five minutes. It begins with hotel pickup within a two-kilometer radius of Sorrento. Transportation is provided by an air-conditioned Mercedes minivan driven by a local driver who shares information about the area throughout the day. The tour includes stops in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. In Positano, guests have one hour of free time to explore the town center independently. The next stop is Amalfi, where visitors spend one hour visiting St. Andrew's Cathedral in the main square or walking around the marina with views of the Mediterranean Sea. The final stop is Ravello, located in the mountains above the coast. Here, a light traditional Italian lunch is served on a terrace restaurant with panoramic views. After lunch, there is additional free time to explore Ravello before returning to Sorrento. Wine and drinks are included with the lunch. The driver provides local knowledge during the drive along the coastal road and mountain routes, described as the only way to visit Ravello. The tour does not accept arrivals by ferry to Sorrento Port or cruise passengers and does not pick up from Naples City or other parts of the Amalfi Coast. Gratuities are not included. The tour is not recommended for travelers prone to car sickness or those using mobility scooters. Infant seats are available on request if advised at booking.
