Overview

This semi-private boat day trip from Sorrento to Capri lasts about 7 to 8 hours and includes a maximum of eight guests on board an elegant gozzo with an experienced English-speaking skipper. The tour begins with a hotel pickup in Sorrento and a transfer to the port of Piano di Sorrento. From there, the boat sails along the Sorrento Coast, passing the ancient fishing village of Marina Grande. Guests will see the ruins of a Roman villa near Bagni Regina Giovanna and a natural waterfall called Cascatella at Cala di Mitigliano. The boat continues along the coast to visit several grottos, including the White Grotto and the Green Grotto. A guaranteed visit to the Blue Grotto lasts about 40 minutes, weather permitting; the entrance ticket must be purchased on site. Along the route, guests also view the Natural Arch, Villa Curzio Malaparte, and the Punta Carena Lighthouse. The boat stops near the Faraglioni sea stacks, where guests can swim and snorkel in the clear waters. After the boat tour, there is a 3 to 5 hour stop at Capri’s Piazzetta for free time to shop or enjoy gelato. Lunch, soft drinks, water, beer, wine, Prosecco, limoncello, and a homemade sweet treat are included. The tour ends with a return transfer from the port of Piano di Sorrento to the hotel in Sorrento. Snorkeling equipment is not included and should be brought by guests or purchased before boarding. A destination fee for docking and mooring services must be paid on site. The tour is subject to weather conditions, and if the Blue Grotto is closed due to sea conditions, the visit will not take place.
