Overview

This kayak tour lasts about three hours along the Amalfi Coast starting from Amalfi. After putting on life jackets and adjusting footrests, participants receive a brief lesson on kayaking and sea safety if needed. The route follows Amalfi’s main beaches, passing close to natural rock arches and entering sea caves. Along the way, paddlers will see old coastal watch towers and stop at beaches accessible only by water. At one point, the tour kayaks near the "Arc of Lovers," a natural rock arch shaped like two elephants touching trunks, with a history of weddings held on top. The tour continues toward Conca dei Marini, where kayakers paddle past an ancient fishing village, the villa of Sophia Loren, and the historic hotel Il Saraceno on La Vite Beach. From there, the Santa Rosa Monastery is visible, a former convent turned luxury hotel, famous for the local pastry "Sfogliatella Santa Rosa." The tour then enters the western basin of Conca dei Marini to visit the Runghetiello Grotto, a natural sea cave with red and green mineral stains. The return paddle to Amalfi offers new views of the coastline and sea. The tour includes kayaks, paddles, life jackets, waterproof jackets, watertight bags, snorkeling gear, hats, bottled water, snacks, and access to facilities such as changing rooms, restrooms, and luggage storage. High-quality photos taken during the tour will be emailed afterward. Participants can swim or snorkel in clear waters at the beach stops. Double kayaks are used, which are stable and easy to handle.
