Overview

This Amalfi Coast small group boat tour departs from the Positano pier at 9:30 AM on a traditional wooden boat with a maximum of 12 passengers. The tour lasts about seven hours. The boat first sails past Positano Spiaggia Di Laurito, a quiet beach, and then passes the fishing village of Marina di Praia in Praiano. Next, the boat approaches the Fiordo di Furore, a deep narrow fjord recognized as a UNESCO heritage site, where it stops briefly for about 10 minutes. The route continues to the Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Grotto), where guests may choose to visit inside for approximately 30 minutes. The entrance ticket to the grotto is not included and must be purchased on site; those not visiting remain on board during this stop. Afterward, the boat sails along the coast to view the natural Arch of Conca dei Marini before arriving in Amalfi. Guests have 1.5 hours of free time in Amalfi to explore the town’s streets, shops, and monuments independently, as no guide is provided. The tour then continues to Atrani, passing the Marmorata waterfalls. Following Atrani, the boat heads to La Gavitella in Praiano for a lunch break at a sea-view restaurant, available only from May 15 to October 5. Lunch is not included in the tour price and can be paid directly at the restaurant, which offers vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. When the restaurant is closed outside this period, the stop in Amalfi extends to about three hours to allow guests to have lunch at their leisure. On the return trip to Positano, the boat stops for swimming and snorkeling in the clear coastal waters. Masks, fins, and life jackets for adults and children are provided on board. The boat also offers beach towels, music, a shower, and toilet facilities. Drinks served include water, soft drinks, limoncello, prosecco, fruits, and snacks. Taxes, fuel, and mooring fees are included in the tour price. Hotel pickup and drop-off, the entrance fee to the Emerald Grotto, lunch at the seaside restaurant, and a guide in Amalfi are not included.
