Overview
This 75-minute heated boat cruise takes place during the 14th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival, which features more than 20 light artworks along the city’s canals under the theme Legacy. The cruise departs from a designated boarding point in Amsterdam and travels through the illuminated canals, allowing passengers to see the light installations from the water. The boat is a classic saloon style with large windows and heating to provide comfort during the nighttime tour. A local skipper operates the boat while a live guide offers commentary about the artworks and the festival. Hot drinks such as mulled wine, hot chocolate, wine, beer, and soft drinks are served on board. If the unlimited drinks option is selected, guests may enjoy all these beverages without restriction. Along with the drinks, each passenger receives a small bite, which is either a fresh stroopwafel or a portion of salted snacks, depending on the chosen option. Passengers should dress appropriately for the weather, as it can still be chilly despite the boat’s heating. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Boarding is carefully timed to avoid congestion, and arrival no earlier than 10 minutes before departure is recommended. The operator is not responsible for delays caused by festival route changes or other external factors.
