Overview

The 9-hour tour begins with an early morning hotel pickup in Siem Reap, followed by a short transfer to Angkor Wat to view the sunrise. The guide leads a visit to the central temple complex for about two hours, explaining the history and symbolism of the site. After the sunrise visit, breakfast is served. Participants then receive either a mountain bike with helmet or an e-bike, depending on the option selected at booking. The cycling route covers 20 to 25 kilometers, starting on trails behind Angkor Wat and passing through local villages to observe daily life. The tour continues to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, entering through the stone gate carved with elephants and giant faces. From there, the group visits Bayon Temple, known for its 54 carved faces representing the Khmer Empire's provinces. Next, the ride proceeds to Ta Prohm Temple, which remains largely overgrown by jungle trees and vines, maintaining its un-restored appearance. The day concludes with lunch beside the ancient reservoir of Srah Srang, featuring Cambodian dishes. Throughout the tour, a support vehicle accompanies the group and is available to return participants to their hotel. Alternatively, guests may choose to return to town by tuk tuk or cycle back with the guide. Bottled water and snacks are included. The tour ends around mid-afternoon, approximately 2:30 pm.
