Overview

This three-hour workshop takes place at Artcava, located about 40 minutes by train from Barcelona. The activity begins with a private tour of the historic farmhouse and original winery facilities, where participants learn about the history and traditions of Cava, the Catalan sparkling wine. Following the tour, guests taste three or more varieties of Cava. The workshop continues in the production room, where participants, guided by experts, select their preferred Cava and take part in disgorging, corking, topping, and labeling their own personalized bottle to take home. The experience also includes a tasting of traditional tapas. Transport from the nearby train station to Artcava is provided. Participants may take photos and videos during the workshop. The workshop lasts about three hours at Artcava, a boutique winery approximately 40 minutes by train from Barcelona. Visitors tour the historic farmhouse and original facilities before tasting multiple Cava varieties. Under expert guidance, participants choose a Cava to disgorge, cork, top, and label their own bottle to take home. The operator provides pickup from the nearby train station.
