Overview

This ticket provides general admission with skip-the-line entry to Auckland Museum in New Zealand. Visitors can spend about three to four hours exploring the museum at their own pace. The museum is housed in a historic building located within a quiet park that offers views of the harbor. Inside, the three floors of exhibits cover New Zealand’s history, including the Polynesian voyages that first brought people to Aotearoa and the cultural diversity of modern Auckland. Since 1929, the museum has also served as a war memorial honoring Aucklanders who lost their lives in conflict. Note that Te Marae Ātea Māori Court and the Pacific Galleries are temporarily closed for maintenance. All fees and taxes are included in the ticket price. Access to special ticketed exhibitions and guided tours are not included but can be purchased separately on site. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
