Overview

This 5-hour motorized tour takes you from Fairbanks to a handpicked lodge away from city lights for viewing the Northern Lights. You travel in a climate-controlled van with hotel pickup and drop-off included. At the lodge, you stay warm indoors while waiting for the aurora to appear, stepping outside only when it is visible. A local guide stays with the group throughout the evening to provide information about the aurora and assist with questions. The lodge offers full creature comforts to keep you comfortable during the night. The tour includes all taxes, fees, and handling charges, but gratuities are not included. Guests should dress for very cold conditions and bring their own winter boots, gloves, hats, snow pants, and other winter gear. Cameras or cold-weather gear are not provided by the operator. Children under 4 are not recommended to join. All participants must sign a waiver acknowledging the risks and confirming medical fitness for wilderness travel.
