Overview

This full-day bus tour lasts about 10 to 12 hours and includes visits to two major UNESCO World Heritage sites near Krakow. The tour begins with a hotel pickup in Krakow between 6:00 and 7:30 AM, confirmed the day before. During the ride, a documentary about the history of Nazi concentration camps is shown to provide background before arriving at Auschwitz-Birkenau. At Auschwitz, participants spend around two hours touring Auschwitz I with an English-speaking museum guide, followed by about one hour at Auschwitz II-Birkenau with the same guide. After the visits, a lunch box is provided featuring options such as chicken pasta salad, sandwiches, a sweet bar, fruit, and water; vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free meals are available upon request. In the afternoon, the group travels to the Wieliczka Salt Mine for an English-guided tour starting around 4 or 5 PM depending on road conditions. The mine tour descends up to 140 meters underground and covers over 2.5 kilometers of chambers containing salt carvings and statues. The entire mine visit takes approximately two and a half hours. After completing both sites, participants are returned to their accommodation or to a central meeting point in Krakow's Old Town or Jewish Quarter if their hotel is located there. The tour is conducted in a group of up to 30 people and includes door-to-door transportation within Krakow city limits.
