Overview

On Tuesdays and Fridays, the tour starts at a real wrestling school in Mexico City where participants meet professional luchadores, enter the ring, and learn about the traditions and techniques of Lucha Libre. After about one to two hours at the school, the group goes to Arena México to watch a live wrestling show that lasts approximately two hours. Arena México is the main venue for Mexican wrestling. On Saturdays, the tour begins in the Historic Center at an artisan mezcalería. Guests taste small-batch mezcals inspired by pre-Hispanic flavors while a local guide explains the background of Lucha Libre. Following the tasting, participants enjoy tacos and drinks. The evening continues with a live wrestling show at Arena Coliseo, known for its energetic atmosphere and masked wrestlers. The entire Saturday tour lasts about three to four hours. The tour includes a wrestler mask, dinner, alcoholic beverages, and admission to the wrestling shows. Walking is involved, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Cameras with detachable lenses are not allowed, but phones can be used for photos. Large bags and backpacks should be avoided. Depending on the starting point, the tour ends at either Vips Cuauhtémoc or Café Tacuba.
