The tour offers three options with hotel pickup and drop-off in Bacalar. Option one runs from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and begins with an early pickup followed by a transfer to the Ichkabal Mayan ruins located deep in the jungle. Visitors have about three hours to explore the archaeological site, including an optional climb of two pyramids that reach between 30 and 40 meters high. After the visit, a local breakfast is served featuring fresh fruit, coffee, natural juice, and a variety of toasts. Option two takes place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM with hotel pickup and a visit to Los Rápidos, a natural channel in the Bacalar Lagoon. Guests can float along the gentle current, swim, relax by the riverside, and receive aerial photos and videos taken by drone. Option three combines both activities in a full-day tour from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. It includes the Ichkabal ruins visit with the optional pyramid climb, breakfast with fresh fruit, coffee, and juice, followed by time at Los Rápidos with the drone photo session. Life jackets, snorkeling masks, entrance fees to all sites, and air-conditioned transportation are included in all options.

Ichkabal Mayan Ruins
Located deep in the jungle, Ichkabal is an important Mayan city that served as a political and spiritual center in ancient times. Visitors walk among temples and plazas surrounded by jungle where monkeys, foxes, and tropical birds are commonly seen. The site has been recently restored and opened to the public, offering an opportunity to explore a less-touristed archaeological area. Guests may choose to climb two pyramids between 30 and 40 meters high during the visit.
