You will be driven to the balloon launch site in the town of Teotihuacán. Upon arrival, you will receive a coffee break while watching the hot air balloon being inflated. Around 6:00 am, the hot air balloon will take off for a flight lasting 30 to 40 minutes, reaching about 10,000 feet and flying over the Teotihuacan archaeological zone. After landing, a traditional toast ceremony takes place with the pilot, and flight certificates are handed out. Next, you will be taken to La Cueva restaurant, located inside a natural cave, where breakfast is served. Following breakfast, you will attend a workshop led by expert guides covering obsidian, maguey, and cultural aspects of Teotihuacán. This session includes a tasting of artisanal local drinks. At about 10:00 am, you have up to two hours to visit the archaeological zone independently; entrance fees are not included. The tour concludes with transportation back to Mexico City around midday.
