This day trip from Bangkok lasts about seven hours and includes a scenic local train ride and a visit to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The tour begins early with a small group traveling in an air-conditioned van. The first stop is the Maeklong Train Market, where you get front-row seats to watch the train pass very close and see how vendors quickly pull back their stalls. You also take a train ride through countryside areas featuring fruit orchards, rice paddies, and local villages, with chances to try cotton candy and see children waving. After the train ride, the tour continues to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Here, you take a boat ride along the canals, sample local foods and fruits, and have time to shop for souvenirs. If time allows, there is an optional visit to a local coconut farm to learn how coconuts are grown and turned into different products. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off within Bangkok city center for private tours, a licensed English-speaking guide, private transportation with air conditioning, snacks, insurance, expressway and parking fees, and all taxes. The group size is small to provide a more personal experience. Return to Bangkok is scheduled by 2:00 PM. Note that the timing depends on traffic and train schedules; if the train ride is missed, other highlights will still be covered but the train cannot be rescheduled.
