Overview

This full-day bus tour in Barcelona lasts about seven hours and covers the city's main highlights with a professional guide and private transportation. The tour starts with a walking visit to the Gothic Quarter, including stops at Mercat de la Boqueria market and several important churches and squares. The guide explains Catalan history and architecture while walking through the streets and squares such as Plaça de Sant Jaume and Pont del Bisbe. Next, the group travels by private vehicle up to Montjuïc hill. There is a stop to admire panoramic views of Barcelona and a visit to L'Anella Olímpica, the Olympic complex built for the 1992 Games. The tour also pauses at the Mirador MNAC viewpoint on Montjuïc. The route continues with a drive-by of Casa Batlló and La Pedrera (Casa Milà), two of Gaudí’s famous buildings on Passeig de Gràcia. Then the group visits Park Güell for one hour with skip-the-line entry and time to explore the park independently. A one-hour lunch break follows at a local restaurant near Sagrada Familia (lunch cost is not included). After lunch, the guide provides an introduction to Sagrada Familia’s architecture and history. Guests receive skip-the-line tickets and can explore the basilica at their own pace, observing its columns and stained glass windows.
