Overview

Beijing Red Theatre, formerly the Grand Theatre of the Chongwen District Workers' Cultural Palace in Beijing, caters to a more local audience, bringing traditional folk art performances back to the theatre and away from television. The acrobatics show, "Absolute Acrobatic Show" at Beijing Red Theatre is performed entirely by the Suining Acrobatic Troupe of Sichuan Province. The troupe has visited countries such as France, Germany, India, Norway, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and the United States, and has won numerous awards at home and abroad. For example, "Bowl Balancing," "Acrobatic Pair," "High Chairs," and "Shoulder Ballet" have won gold awards at the 5th Russian International Circus Festival, the World Acrobatic Arts Competition, and the International Circus Festival. In 2015, the "Bowl Balancing" act of the Absolute Acrobatic Show was featured on CCTV's Spring Festival Gala. The performance is wonderful, featuring dance, acrobatics, and seamless transitions, making it well worth seeing. Through thousands of years of inheritance and development, it has gradually formed the rich and colorful skills we see today. The exquisite performance forms are thrilling and exciting, including tightrope walking, aerial ring dance, high chair stacking, globe motorcycle stunts.
