This half-day bus tour covers the key sights of Belgrade on both sides of the Sava and Danube rivers. The tour lasts about three hours and includes hotel pickup and drop-off by air-conditioned minivan or private sedan, depending on group size. A professional English-speaking guide accompanies the group throughout the tour. The visit begins with a 40-minute guided walk around Belgrade Fortress, exploring its Roman, medieval, Ottoman, and Austrian history through its gates and fortifications. Next, the group moves to the Upper Town to see the Victor Monument, where panoramic views overlook where the Sava and Danube rivers meet. The tour then crosses the Sava River to New Belgrade, passing notable postwar architecture including Ušće, the Palace of Serbia, and the Belgrade Arena. The route continues across Ada Bridge into Dedinje, known for diplomatic residences and villas, passing the Red Star football stadium on the way to the Church of Saint Sava. At the Church of Saint Sava, the guide leads a 50-minute visit inside to view the large interior and mosaics while discussing the church’s history and Saint Sava himself. The final part of the tour drives through central Belgrade, passing Slavija Square, the government district, the former Yugoslav Army General Staff, the Old and New Royal Palaces, and the National Assembly.
