This walking food tour lasts about three hours and takes place in Berlin’s center, including the Barn Quarter and Hackescher Markt. The route leads through the historic center’s streets and courtyards, some decorated with street art and lined with cinemas and cafes dating back to the 19th century. Participants pass by a 1700s Evangelical church known for hosting a clandestine Cold War-era mass. At Hackescher Markt, the tour visits a busy area with markets and cafe terraces beneath one of Berlin’s few remaining pre-war train stations.
