Overview

This 4.5-hour sailing and snorkeling tour runs along the Kona Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. The trip begins with a sail down the coastline, passing ancient lava flows before reaching the area around the Captain Cook Monument. Guests have about one hour to snorkel in the clear waters of Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve, known for its colorful fish and marine sanctuary status. Afterward, there is a second hour of snorkeling near the Captain Cook Monument itself. Weather permitting, there is an additional 50-minute snorkel stop in the Red Hill area. The tour includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, reef safe sunscreen, snorkel gear, flotation noodles, and carbonated beverages. Guests are encouraged to bring an underwater camera to photograph the marine life. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase onboard, but gratuities are not included. Full face masks are not allowed for safety reasons.
