Overview

The Blue Cave on Biševo Island is a natural attraction known for its glowing blue waters caused by sunlight reflecting through an underwater opening. This 10 to 12-hour speedboat tour from Split starts with a 90-minute ride to the cave's east side, where visitors spend up to 45 minutes waiting and exploring depending on the season. The tour includes skip-the-line access to reduce wait times for the Blue Cave entrance. After visiting the cave, the boat heads to the fishermen’s village Komiža on the western side of Vis Island. Here, guests have about an hour to walk around the village, enjoy breakfast, or have coffee at the waterfront. Next, the tour stops at Stiniva Cove, a secluded bay accessible only by sea, where visitors can swim and access the beach from the boat during the 20-minute stop. Following Stiniva Cove, the boat passes by Srebrena Beach, known from the film Mamma Mia, where the skipper will slow down for photo opportunities. The tour continues to Budikovac Island's Blue Lagoon for a swim lasting about an hour. Snorkeling equipment is provided to explore the lagoon’s underwater environment. In the high season, the stop lasts 75 minutes and includes access to a local beach bar where visitors may buy drinks and meet a friendly donkey. In the off-season or bad weather, the stop is shorter, and the donkey is not present. The final destination is Hvar town, where guests have approximately two and a half hours of free time to explore. Options include lunch at local restaurants and visits to landmarks such as the Fortress and the Cathedral, both optional and not organized by the tour operator. The cathedral visit takes about 20 minutes, and the fortress visit about 30 minutes, offering views over Hvar and the Pakleni Islands. The tour is conducted on an open-air speedboat with English-speaking guides, safety and wind jackets, life vests, and all required insurance and fees included. Snorkeling gear is also provided. Drinks, lunch, gratuities, and entrance fees to attractions like the Blue Cave are not included. The maximum group size is 12 people. Certain health and age restrictions apply, and the itinerary may be adjusted in bad weather.
